The reducer improves the flow properties and reduces the sticking of the color pigments to the airbrush needle. The colors of the AirbrushColor4you should be diluted with a maximum addition of 10% of the reducer in order not to impair the adhesion properties.

REDUCER VS. WEDGE: HOW IS ADHESION AFFECTED?
If too much reducing agent is added to smooth surfaces (metal, model making, etc.), the color is overstretched and loses its adhesion properties. Overstretching the color is not so tragic on paper & canvas as a painting surface. We therefore recommend using the stretcher frame on smooth surfaces and in custom painting as a medium to achieve a softer application of paint without losing adhesion.
